This box is 12 inches wide at the top and 9-3/4 inches wide at the bottom, so it will fit in that 14 space between the wheel well and the front of the bed on your 2006 Dodge Ram Crew Cab, short bed. Its not the biggest box at 4 cubic feet, but it will fit.
