The Original Custom Towing Mirror Slip on Mirrors by Longview
Slip on mirrors provide excellent towing visibility at an economical price. Mirrors come complete with hardware and are easily installed in minutes without any tools. The Original Custom Towing Mirror Slip On Mirrors utilize a positive hook and knob method to secure the mirror and also reduce wind vibration. The mirrors will not restrict the break away function of the OEM mirror housing nor the adjustment of the glass mirror.
The custom towing mirror will fit vehicle mirrors like the one pictured here.

Today on this 2006 Ford F-150 we will be installing the Longview adjustable towing mirror part number CTM2300-A. The longview towing mirrors are very easy to use and only take a few seconds to install. To install what you need to do is slide the mirror over our existing mirror until it is fully seated. You will see here on the vehicle side we have got a hole. We are going to be using this clip that is provided and all we need to do is take the hook end of the clip and hook it on to the inside of the mirror to where the thread is faced towards the hole in the back side and then we will just take the thumb screw, feed it through the hole and thread it on to the clip. 00:37
That is going to hold the mirror nice and tight on to the vehicle. That is all there is to the installation. You can see that with the mirrors installed we have got an extended view of our back side of our vehicle. We can easily see whatever we are towing behind us. The mirror is fully adjustable top to bottom and side to side. That will conclude the installation of the Longview adjustable towing mirror part number CTM2300-A.

FITS MY F150 FINE-MOSTLY I needed to get Longview to send longer "hook rods" to hold the slip-on mirror to my mirror. They were very responsive and helpful. Other than that, it fits well over my 2008 F150 standard mirrors. Note that the extended mirror is adjustable, up/down and left-right. 3149

CLAMPING BRACKET TOO SHORT [this is not Etrailers problem, it's the mfgr's design] On my 2008 F150, the threaded rod which clamps the slideon mirro to the main mirror is a little too short. And the plastic threads seem pretty wimpy for long term use. Fear they will strip out. But the mirror does slide onto my existing mirror just fine. Just know that you may want to beef up the little bracket that holds the slip on to "your" mirror. 3090
