Today we are going show you part number CTEK56384 from Ctek. This is our comfort indicator clamps. What this is is the perfect accessory to your Ctek charger. It can replace the clamps that come with the charger, that charges the battery. Also what it has is an indicator light on the port itself to tell you the condition of the battery. You can actually use this to test various batteries to see what condition they are in and if you can charge them or not. :28
The lead on this assembly is just at 5 feet long, so you have plenty of room to work with. Lets go ahead and connect it to the battery and get an idea of a realistic situation. Go ahead and just clamp this on, red to positive and black to negative, and check the condition of the battery. It is showing yellow, so that means the condition of the battery could stand to use a charge. So we will go ahead and hook our Ctek charger up to it and start charging the battery. :56
You just have to plug these two together and we will go ahead and plug in the charger and we will be charging this battery up. All right we have our charger on and the indicator actually shows that it has a full charge, so it is actually getting power from the charger itself. This is most accurate when the battery has rested for a half hour or so after it has been used or charged, then you can go ahead and check the charger with this. The indicator will show three flashing lights. Green for a fully charged battery. Yellow for a partially charged battery. And then red, for a decharged battery.
