These mounting brackets sandwich around the trailer's tongue and attach with 3/8" diameter bolts (not included). Multiple holes in the brackets make it easy to adapt to the different heights of trailer frames and also to ensure that the roller will be mounted at the proper position.
Determining Roller, Bolt and Shaft Length
To determine mounting height, add 1" to your trailer's tongue width to determine the necessary length of the 3/8" mounting bolts (not included).
To determine roller width, add 2" to your trailer's tongue width.
To determine 5/8" roller shaft length, add 3" to your trailer's tongue width.
Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mm to 5 mm thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.
