The locking feature of this cable lock is different than others that I have seen. The keyed lock is a shielded nut that spins over the end of the other side of the cable which has a bolt like end. It seems like a good design.7456

Have not tried these cable locks yet, but I wanted to say that Etrailer shipped them the same day, and they were part of a "no fee" shipping order. They arrived on the 3rd. Geez, starting to sound biblical here.5777

Cable Lock # CAB-10 Recommendation
This 10 foot Long Cable Lock # CAB-10 has a 5/16 inch diameter cable with a 9/16 inch metal end and should fit in the 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch opening that you have. If needed to you could link these together by running one cable through the eye of another if you needed to. The # CAB-10 should work well for what you are doing.
