SportRack 2 Bike Stacker Bike Storage Review

Video Transcript for SportRack 2 Bike Stacker Bike Storage Review

Today we are going to review the SportRack 2 bike stacker this is going to be part number BSR12. The stand itself is constructed out of a one by two steel tubing so it will handle just about any bike out there, even the heavy cruisers. Those have two arms that are independent of each other so it will help to adjust to different types of frames to hold the bike up. The rubber holders are on each of the arms and they are soft pliable rubber so you can put your bikes on there and the cables will not dig into the paint job of your bike. The bottom of the stand itself also has adjustable feet as well to help you level it out on an uneven floor. A typical application for this stand would be anywhere you have got room to stack two bikes. 00:34

Start from the bottom and work our way up. The feet are adjustable and to adjust the arms themselves will be pretty easy you just have to loosen up the hand knob right here and these slide up and down to where we want them. When you have it where you want it just tighten it down. Also the cradles themselves are made out of soft material and they can slide across the arm as needed to accommodate your bike. You can see how we have the stand set up. The bars are not parallel to accommodate the bike frame. We will put the next bike on there. It is a good idea to put the heaviest bike on the bottom. As you can see here with the arms being able to move independently we can still load up the bikes and they can still stay level. With that, that will finish the review of part number BSR12 from SportRack.

  • Height, Width, and Depth of SportRack 2 Bike Stacker Bike Storage, # BSR12
  • I went out to the warehouse and assembled a SportRack 2 Bike Stacker Bike Storage rack, # BSR12, and then measured it. It is 81-1/4 inches tall, 31-1/2 inches wide at the base, 14 inches wide outside to outside of the main support legs, and 22-1/2 inches deep at the base. One installation tip I can offer is that in the instructions, it says to put the feet on last. It would be easier to put them on in step 1.
