For Saris, Thule and Yakima racks that fit both 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, the Hang2 will safely store your bike rack and one other hitch accessory up and out of the way.
Hang2 easily stores two hitch-mounted racks or accessories. This laid-back little guy hangs out anywhere you have wall space. When Sports Racks and Cargo Carriers are off your vehicle they are awkward, unwieldy and create a hazard on the garage floor. Securely store and organize bike racks, cargo carriers, tailgate tables, ski/snowboard racks, draw bars and other hitch gear. Don't make waves with a cluttered garage. Hang2 dude!

Today we are going to cover part number BH90H3FS from Boone Outdoor Hardware. What this is, is a wall mount that actually holds up your bicycle rack or other hitch accessories, such as a cargo carrier or ball mounts. On this part number, we actually have a special pin design for Yakima and Thule and Ceres bicycle racks, because their anti-rattle hitch bolt designs require a little-bit-different pin. We will go ahead and show you how it works and how it gets installed.
All right, we have our unit here, mounted onto the wall already. Take your first pin with the even shoulders and install your clips, one on each side. And they just snap into place. And then we will take our second pin, and the same thing applies. Again, reinstall your little clips. Now, the major difference is this special pin right here. It has a full shoulder that goes all the way back to the mount here. Basically, what that is designed for is to put on bicycle racks that have the threaded fittings where it goes into the hitch tube itself. So if you have an anti-rattle hitch bolt, this is the mount for you.
We will go ahead and install this Yakima brand rack. And once you have it in place, you secure it with the safety pin. And there you have it: stored until you are ready to use it. Next, we will try out a sport rack wheel-mount rack. Now we will try a Thule rack. As you can see here, this fits a wide variety of bicycle racks. And as we mentioned earlier, this will also fit a Ceres brand bicycle rack with the same bolt-on hitch-pin configuration. And there you have it for cover part number BH90H3FS from Boone Outdoor Hardware.

Perfect item for storing my Thule rack off the ground and out of the way. I was very skeptical about the little screws it came with so I used 1/4" x 4" lag screws instead and it feels rock solid. I mounted it to a 4x4 piece of wood that I bolted to my storage shelf as I didn't have any open wall space.41591
spec on hang2 is 90lbs or 45lbs per side - I have the same Thule rack which weighs 60-65 - concerned it will bend the bracket and or worse tear-off the wall - will be mounting thru drywall into 2x6 stud. Anybody else had good luck exceeding the bracket specs?

You are correct, it should be a maximum load of 45 pounds per side. I weighed our TH916XTR and it came in at 48 pounds. It is close but still over.
