Today, were going to review part number BD148700. This is the Bulldog Multi-Jack Farm Jack. This jack is a multipurpose tool which is great for lifting, pulling, clamping and spreading. This does have a long handle which will keep you at a safe distance while operating the jack. Also, the long handle will multiply the effort you can use when lifting up a load. This does have a heavy duty ratcheting mechanism which is strong and long lasting.
The whole jack is built of durable steel construction. Has a powder coat finish which will help resist corrosion. It also comes with a large 10-inch by 10-inch nylon base to help provide sturdy support for the jack. This jack does have an overall height of 48 inches. The maximum lift would be 35 inches.
It does have a weight capacity of 7000 pounds. The maximum load at full extension would be 4660 pounds. This part does have a five-year limited warranty. Ill show you how the jack will operate. To raise a load, what you need to do would be to pull this lever.
It has a little notch in it right here and then there is a little indentation there. If you just pull it up to engage it, it will lock it in place and that will allow you to crank the jack and as you crank it, you can hear it ratchet. And basically, as you crank it, it will raise one of these holes each time. Also, a nice feature on this handle is it does have a clamp here which will allow you to clamp the handle to the jack and hold it in place. Now, to lower our load, this jack is designed when it has a load, when you lift your load and it has a load on the jack, then what you would have to do, just pull up on your lever which will release it and disengage it from that indentation.
That will put it in the lowering position. And with the load on it and you pull the handle, it wont go anywhere without a load on it and if I pulled this handle, the whole jack would actually fall down. So with the load on and its not going to go anywhere. Another feature is it has these holes in each clamp. With that can be used for is you can use this jack as a wench by hooking a strap or a cable to that hole and as you are cranking the handle and pulling, you will be able to wench something. You can also use it as a clamp same way. When you crank it, it will squeeze it together and you will be able to clamp and hold something in place. That should do it for part number BD148700.
