Power Step motorized running boards quickly and quietly lower as door opens and retract as door closes, maintaining original vehicle ground clearance. Power Step combines a wide surface with a natural step distance to the vehicle for easy entry and exit.

The AMP Research Power Step is modeled after household stairs to make vehicle entry and exit an easy and comfortable experience. Featuring a generous 6-1/4" wide step surface and a 600-lb load-bearing capacity per side, these running boards are a "step up" from traditional nerf bars and tube steps, cutting the distance from truck to ground for effortless entry and exit.

Running boards are controlled by vehicle's factory door sensors and powered by a weatherproof motor with anti-pinch technology for optimum safety and operation in severe weather conditions. Boards are attached to the motor by a patented four-bar linkage system that allows unit to fold flush with rocker panels, maintaining the vehicle's original style lines and height.

The boards are constructed from high-strength, lightweight extruded aluminum for a no-slip, textured step surface. Arms are made from billeted aluminum, and the four-bar linkage system is constructed from die-cast machined aluminum to provide stability and corrosion resistance. All parts feature black powder coated finish for added durability. Components are backed by a limited three-year warranty.

Each kit includes left- and right-side running boards, unit mounting hardware, wiring harness, electric motors and detailed installation guide. This vehicle requires an additional Four Diode Kit for installation of Power Step.

An optional Lighting Kit is available for all vehicles.
