- I walked out to our warehouse and pulled the Ohio State hitch cover # AMG100390, from our inventory. The Ohio State hitch includes a 3/16 inch thick foam gasket that sits behind the plate of the hitch cover to prevent rattling.
From the back edge of the plate of to the center of the hitch pin measures approximately 2-1/2 inches. From the back of the gasket to the center of the hitch pin measures 2-5/16 inches. I have attached a picture showing these measurements.
