If you have air springs but you're tired of manually adjusting the air pressure, then the SmartAir automatic-leveling system is exactly what you need. SmartAir senses changes in your load weight using a magnet and an electronic height sensor (EHS). The magnet is mounted to your vehicle's axle or leaf spring, and the EHS is mounted to the frame. When weight is added to your load, the magnet will rise above the EHS. The system detects this difference in height, and if the magnet does not return to its previous position after 25 seconds, then the system automatically realigns the magnet and sensor by adjusting your air spring pressure appropriately. The same goes for when the weight of your load is reduced: Air will be automatically released from your helper springs to bring your vehicle back to normal ride height.

The SmartAir system will lift the rear of your vehicle when you are carrying a heavy load. This will level your vehicle front to back to significantly improve braking, steering and tire wear.

Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can install the magnet and EHS so that the system will automatically adjust your air springs to maintain normal ride height.

SmartAir is easy to install and comes with a helpful, illustrated instruction manual.

When installing an air helper spring system, it is crucial that any cuts made for insertion into the fittings are perfectly square. To accomplish this, we recommend a tubing cutter, part # AL10530.
