All three items (hitch ball, extra long ball mount and hitch receiver lock came very quickly, packaged very well and are of high quality and are reasonably priced. The extra long ball mount has solved my problem of having to backup the car into the water. I have looked for it locally to no avail but have found it on etrailer.com. In short I am very happy with the product and the service. 6344

  • 2 Inch Hitch Ball with a 3/4 Inch Shank and 2 Inch Rise
  • We offer a 2 inch hitch ball, part # A-82 with a 3/4 inch shank diameter and a 2-1/8 inch long shank. If you were needing the high rise trailer ball, those are no longer available. Your best bet would be to use a ballmount with a larger rise to gain greater height.

  • What Size Hitch Ball Will Fit my 2002 Chevrolet S-10 Bumper Ball Hole
  • In order to make a proper selection for a hitch ball, you will need to find out what diameter size ball your trailer needs. It should be stamped on the trailer coupler or frame, either 1-7/8 or 2 inch. All bumper ball holes are 3/4 of an inch, so you will need to pick a ball with a 3/4 inch shank diameter. The ball you were looking at, part # A-82, is a 3/4 inch shank diameter and is a 2 inch diameter ball. If you need a 1-7/8 inch ball, you would use part # A-80. Those are our only stainless

  • Coupler on Coleman Pop-Up Trailer is Difficult to Un Hitch on Uneven Terrain
  • I do not have a specific product to recommend, but you might want to check a few things. First, make certain that you are using the correct size ball for the coupler. (Silly, but I had to mention it!) Secondly, make sure that the coupler is in good repair and that the latching mechanism is properly adjusted and lubricated. If the latching mechanism on the coupler is a bit too tight, it could cause the problem you are describing. Finally, try applying a thin coat of grease on the trailer b

  • Is a 2 inch or 2-5/16 inch Ball a Standard Size for a Hitch Ball
  • 2 inch or 2-5/16 inch diameter balls are pretty standard sized balls, it is not surprising that the coupler on the 1997 Coleman camper accepts either one of those sizes. For a 2 inch ball I would recommend a Hitch Ball with 2 inch Diameter and Medium Shank, part # 19247, and for a 2-5/16 inch ball I would recommend a Hitch Ball with 2-5/16 inch Diameter and Medium Shank, part # 19287. If you need a ball mount as well I would recommend a Ball Mount 2-3/4 inch Rise or 4 inch Drop, part # 275
