Today we are going to be installing hitch part number 90652 from Hidden Hitch on a 2008 Toyota Solara. OK, underneath the vehicle, we are looking at the drivers side frame rail. You can see we have got two existing weld nuts here at the end of the frame. These are going to provide the two rear-most attaching points for the trailer hitch. And then we have got a sticker here which are going to need to remove. It will be one, two and three - will be our three weld nuts here.
The first thing we are going to do is lower the exhaust off of its hanger here on the frame. The passengers side weld nuts should be in good condition, since they had bolts in them already. But over here on the drivers side, you can see we have got a lot of corrosion built up. I am just going to take and spray them down with a spray lubricant like a WD-40. And then I am just going to take a wire brush and run that in there. It should help to loosen the road grime and rust that are built up in there. We will do that a couple of times just to ensure that the bolts will go into the weld nuts easily, and then we will go ahead and put our hitch up into position.
OK, when we put the hitch up we are going to be using the hex bolts and conical-tooth washers that are provided in the installation kit. When putting the hitch up, we want to go ahead and put the drivers side up first, and then we will go ahead and put the passengers side up. OK, and then on the passengers side, again you just want to align the holes in the hitch with the holes in the frame. And we are going to rotate the exhaust hanger into position. OK, and with the bolts in position, we can go ahead and torque them down next. You want to check with your directions to verify the appropriate torque rating for each individual bolt. OK, and with all the bolts torqued down, our installation will be complete. And this will conclude the installation of hitch part number 90652 on a 2008 Toyota Solara.

Great service! Product arrived the day after I ordered it. Wish I had ordered the wiring assembly at the same time, but didn't know lights were required 'till after the fact. Guess it pays to check state law first.20735
