Tekonsha P3 Electric Trailer Brake Controller
The P3 controller is designed for use with electric and/or electric over hydraulic trailer braking systems. A simple switch on the unit allows the user to toggle back and forth between the two systems. The Tekonsha P3's LCD display features a distinctive look with multiple color and contrast options and includes a highly advanced, easy-to-understand roadside diagnostics display. The P3 advanced diagnostics not only notify you of potential problems, it can tell you where to begin trouble shooting.

I am very pleased with the controller, I would not have bought any other. However, my only problem is that it does not turn off, even with the key off. If you leave it plugged in, it will drain your battery. It has to be unplugged. Which is fine, I suppose, the mounting bracket allows for easy removal, and comes with a storage pack for the glove box.

Easy to install in my 2008 Yukon with the tow package. The nuts you'll need for the studs by the fuse box are an M6 and M8 for the GM trucks, mine had the fuses already provided. Super easy set-up, easy to switch between trailers.
