Changing your hitch ball size is as easy as pushing out the integrated pin.

No need to get out the heavy wrenches. Convert-A-Ball's interchangeable balls are equipped with integrated pins, making it easy to change out your hitch ball for one of another size.
To switch balls, simply push in the integrated pin (using a pen or your finger) to release and remove installed ball. Then just replace with different-size ball, reversing the process.

• The Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Set , # 900b, hitch balls attach to the included post and shank by the locking pins. The correct size ball is put on the post and the holes are lined up. Then the locking pin is pushed in place thru the holes and locks. To remove the ball you would press the dimple on the end of the locking pin, which releases the pin and it can be pushed out. • How to Remove a Stuck Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Hitch Ball
  
• I spoke with my contact at Convert-A-Ball and was told that you should try to use a brass punch initially. If the Pin in the Interchangeable Ball Set, # 900B, will not move with the brass punch you will need to attempt to use a harder steel punch. Some penetrating lubricant, like WD-40 or PB Blaster may help with removal also. If a steel punch will not dislodge the pin, you will need to have the pin pressed out, a local automotive shop should have a press that can perform this operation.

• The Convert-A-Ball trailer ball sets are available with shanks that are 1-3/4 inches in length, like part # 802B, 2-1/4 inch shank like part # 900B or with a 3 inch shank length, like part # 105TB. The shank length refers to the length of the shank portion that passes through the ball mount. The longer shank lengths are provided to fit thicker ball mounts.
