- When to Use The Manual Reverse Lock-Out on Atwood Actuator Trailer Coupler # 84132
- Atwood Actuator Coupler # 84132 includes a manual reverse lockout that permits backing of the trailer. You have to move the reverse lockout lever anytime you will be backing a significant distance or if there is resistance, such as backing up a hill. Very short distances can be backed without moving the lever as long as they are done at very slow speeds and there is no resistance on the trailer.

- Is Atwood Hydraulic Coupler Actuator Part 84132 a Direct Replacement for a Dico Model 60 Actuator
- Both the Dico 60 and the Atwood part # 84132 fit 3 inch channel. I called our Atwood guy and they do not know if it is a direct replacement as far as the bolt holes lining up, but it will fit 3 inch channel like the Dico 60.
He measured the bolt holes for me and they measure 3 inches apart from center to center. If the holes in your trailer are this measurement it may bolt right in. Either way, the actuator will fit the same channel that a Dico 60 would, you may just have to drill holes.

The cable is attached to the push rod assembly and the cable has to be fed back through so the push rod can be properly released into the master cylinder. The cable actually attaches on the inside of the brake fluid reservoir and loops through the push rod end.

If you find further damage then I would recommend to replace the brake actuator coupler. You will also want to make sure that the hitch ball is the correct size for the coupler.

- How To Stop Trailer Brakes For Activating When In Reverse On Incline
- I can understand the frustration you are having and it is experienced by others who use a manual reverse lockout. What you will need to do is install, Replacement Solenoid Valve for Titan Brake Actuators, part # T4748800. This will not allow the brakes to activate at all when the vehicle is in reverse and you will never have to get out of your vehicle to switch it back and forth.
To install, one end will connect the master cylinder, the other end will connect to the brake line. You will then
