• The bolt-on receiver you mention is only rated for 6,000 lbs. I would recommend the Valley Class IV Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # V82791, which has a towing capacity of 10,000 lbs. This is still a bolt-on application, but in addition to anchoring to the bumper tube, it also attaches to the truck frame. I have added a link to the hitch and the instructions below.
