Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.
Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Today we are going to install part number 75527 from Draw-Tite, and we are going to install this 2-inch receiver hitch on a 2007 Toyota Tundra. Okay, the hitch is going to mount up in this spot right here, where you see this L-shape bracket. There are four bolts going through here. All these bolts come out, and then the bracket comes off. And then also the hitch will install on the bumper bracket below, in the holes down here. And it is going to be identical on the passengers side and the drivers side. Okay, we have got that bracket off go ahead and do the same thing to the other side.
At this point, we can go ahead and put the hitch in position. We will use a bolt on each side to hold the hitch up inside the weld nuts, and then we will install the rest of the hardware. It is kind of awkward, it is kind of a wide hitch. It is a good idea to have an extra set of hands in there to help lift it up. Theres one bolt in each side so were ready to install the rest of our hardware. Next we will install the hardware for this slot right here, and it is going to use a plate and a 1/2-inch by 1-3/4 inch bolt, and it is going to go from the outside in, like that. We will also go ahead and put the conical-tooth washer and nut on. Install our hardware on the top here from the outside in, install the bolt, and then the flat washer, lock washer, and then the nut. All right, we will go ahead and finish the hardware on the drivers side now. The reason you leave everything loose is so you can move the hitch around as you need it to get the hardware in place. Okay, and at this point now you can start snugging down all the hardware. Go ahead and torque down the bolts as specified in the instructions. All right, with that, that finishes our install of part number 75527 from Draw-Tite.

It arrived within two days of when I ordered it and in great shape. They actually upgraded my shipping at no extra cost to me. All the parts were there. The hitch alligned perfectly with the preexcisting holes and was easy to bolt on. Looks great! Wouldn't have taken long to install either if it weren't for 110 degree weather. Still only took about 45min to an hour.20423

2" reciver installation The installation of the 2" receiver went very smoothly. Found all the hardware was included which is always a plus. The installation took only about 20 minutes which was also nice because the temperature was only 10 degrees F. Thanks4898
