I can generally figure out how things should work, but as this product was a substitution replacement part, it was not as simple as swapping out the old one-piece part. Product is as good as the original; it is just a bit difficult to remove the bike supports from the rail to replace the straps, but we go it done! Replacement male end for the cable lock is a winner, easy to replace. This is the second time we've had to replace this part, so we are hoping (with the spring that prevents it from falling out and getting scraped up on the road) to never have to replace it again!52674

This rubber cradle strap is wide and soft, and fits the larger top tube on a newer carbon or light weight alloy road bike. It also grips the bike more securely than hard plastic cradle systems, and is less likely to work loose. I received my order quickly and everything was as advertised and as expected. I'm very pleased with the product and the service.51003

Everything I said in my review about the T# cradles apply to the straps also. Have a Thule bike rack that has been great for road & mountain bikes. The cradles started coming apart when I started carrying my Rowbike & my Nirve Adult Chopper. Both have upper tubes that were way too wide for my Thule cradles. The T3 Replacement Cradles have solved my problem. They are wider & more flat than my original cradels. Plus they give you the option of attaching the strap to one of two buttons. Credit goes to a very knowledgeable & patient customer service rep. at ETrailer who found the T3 cradles for me. This was my first experience with ETrailer. But definitely not my last.44145

i ordered the replacement t3 cradle body for thule bike carriers, however i mounted them on a bell bike carrier. Great product, will mount on any carrier as long as tubes are and inch in diameter. Cradles fit real snug so it takes the worry out of your bike moving back and fourth. e trailer was the best price around, and standard shipping was extremely fast (less then a week).19506
