All right, today we are going to review part number 7070 from Cipa, the Clip-on Towing Mirror. This mirror can adjust to a variety of different factory mirrors, and the arms themselves can move in different directions. And the mirror itself will also rotate, too. Now we can go ahead and install this on a typical vehicle and show you how it works.
All right, to install this mirror, simply manipulate the arms to make sure it matches the edge of your mirror. See, these little edges will catch on the bottom edge of this mirror right here. And just kind of push it down into place and then maybe pull it toward the end a little bit, as much as you can.. And then you go ahead and pull your straps around the bottom of the mirror, and pull on your strap a little bit to take up as much slack as you can. Take one strap off and then tighten it just a little bit more, and then you can secure it by putting it back through the other side of the buckle. Then reattach and do the same thing for the other strap. When you have it properly secured, it should not move at all. I bought these for my Honda Pilot and towed a pop-up camper about 700 miles to the white mountains, highway and back roads. The mirrors were a little bouncy but they stayed put and didn't need re-adjusting. very good for the money.20101

Ok for occasional use I've had a set for less than a year, used once last year, and about three times this year. They vibrate quite a lot and don't hold on as well as I would like. The rubber straps are starting to crack. Large mirror area is a plus. If you are only using them occasionally, they are good. If you are using them more often and leaving them on the vehicle for more than a day or so (i.e. long road trips), look for something a bit more robust.2056

Great Value!!!!! Works with signal mirrors on 2007 Expedition, simple to install and remove, large mirror area compared to other universal fit mirrors. I really like them! They do vibrate a little, but that is easy to fix once you have them adjusted to your mirrors.478
