UV-Protected, polyethylene plastic cover keeps rain away from your roof vent so you can keep it open in all kinds of weather, allowing you to circulate air in and out of your RV or trailer without fear of water damage. And while it keeps water out, it lets some light in, so you don't have to feel like you live in a dungeon.
The Zero-Leak attachment system is designed to attach to your roof vent's frame. You won't have to drill holes and run the risk of a leaky roof. Instead, you drill mounting holes in the vent frame, where they are hidden underneath the cover, protected from the weather. All included mounting hardware is made of aluminum or stainless steel to prevent corrosion.
Notes
- Some vents may not open fully when used with this vent cover.
- Not for use with high-powered ventilators.
Installation Instructions
- Position the cover in place and mark the positions of the mounting slots.
- Line up each of the 4 brackets and mark the position of its screw hole on the roof vent frame.
- Drill 3/16" holes in the marked positions.
- Mount each bracket to the roof vent frame with included bolts and nuts.
- Mount the cover to the brackets with included carriage bolts and nuts.

- You will need to measure the vent on your trailer, not the actual cover of the vent to determine which size replacement vent you will need. The standard vent sizes are 14-1/2 by 14-1/2 inches, 14 by 14 inches, or 13 by 14 inches.
When installing your new vent, I would recommend using some silicone on the base of the vent and around the edges to prevent leaking. The Installation Kit # RVIKIT100, would be a good option for this.
