Today on this 2009 Dodge Caliber we will be installing Hidden Hitch part number 60832. This installation will also apply for Draw-Tite part number 24769. We are underneath the vehicle and we are actually looking at the driver side frame rail. You can see here on the side of the frame we have got two existing holes. Those are going to provide our attaching points on both sides of the vehicle here. What we are going to be using are the long 5/ 8 bolts that are provided with our installation kit. There is actually a cushioning inside of these holes here that will allow us to slide these bolts all the way through. So what we are going to do is just slide those in and what we want to do is leave them flush with the frame rail here because the hitch is actually going to slide up on the inboard side here.
And once we have got the hitch up we are going to slide it through and that will hold the up into place. So you want to set up the bolts on both sides of the vehicle to where they are flush with the frame rail. We are going to be attaching these bolts with the lock washer and hex bolt combination. Okay, and now that we have got the bolts set up into place we can go ahead and put the hitch up into position. Again, the arms of the hitch are going to be on the inboard side of the vehicle. Okay, now that we have got the hitch up into position, we can go ahead and torque the bolts down. You want to check with the directions to verify the specified torque rating for each individual bolt. And that will conclude the installation of Hidden Hitch part number 60832 on a 2009 Dodge Caliber.

I am Very, Very Happy that I traded with eTrailer.com. Thank You for a great product. Very easy - I installed the hitch, by myself, in 12 minutes. Hint - if you are doing the install alone - use small jack to hold one side of hitch up - while you slide the bolts into the opposite side. The written directions are simple and the Video demonstration for Installation of the Hidden Hitch was fantastic. I am totally happy with the service I received & I have already referred several people to eTrailer.com. 10957

Great product, awesome shipping, couldnt be happier!!! Install was probably the easiest thing i've done on a car yet! Only took about ten minutes to put on, and getting the ramps lined up and the car up on them was harder than the actual install! Shipping was great, i recieved the hitch in 2 days from my order in a large box in which the hitch was thoroughly bubble wrapped. All i plan to tow with this is my single rail motorcycle trailer, so this will be perfect!10470
