• Let me begin by saying that the only portion of the roof rack system that is vehicle specific is what Thule refers to as a Fit Kit and Yakima calls Q Clips. This portion of the system is what actually holds the load bar supports to the vehicle. • The Thule Sidekick Cargo Box, # TH682, uses U-bolts to attach to the crossbars on a vehicle roof. The u-bolts that come with the box are large enough for the Rola crossbars with rack # 59801, so the box hardware will fit the crossbars. You will need to make sure that you have a crossbar spread on your 2008 Kia Rio 5 of 23-5/8 inches to 32-1/16 inches in order for the box to fit.
