This versatile winter-sport carrier lets you carry 4 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards safely and securely on your roof rack. The carrier includes universal mounting hardware, soft rubber padding to protect your gear, and locks that help to deter theft.

Whether you are hauling 4 pairs of skis, 2 snowboards or a family-size load of fishing poles, this winter-sport carrier ensures that you arrive at your destination with all your gear intact - and do it without overspending.

The Rhino-Rack ski and snowboard carrier comes with a lock on each unit (and 4 keys) to offer you peace of mind when you are hanging at the lodge after a long day on the slopes.

The carrier operates with a large push button, designed for easy loading and unloading of skis or snowboards even if you're wearing fingerless mittens or big, bulky winter gloves.

The ski and snowboard carrier mounts in the top channel of your Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty, Aero or Sportz crossbars with T-bolts or channel nuts. It also comes with universal clamp-on mounting hardware that lets you use the carrier on Thule square and Rapid Aero, Yakima round and most factory bars right out of the box. The clamps have security bolts that require a special tool (included) to loosen, preventing thieves from disassembling the mounting hardware and stealing your carrier.

A riser kit (S550; sold separately) is available to accommodate your snowboards with tall bindings. The risers mount to the spacer nuts on the bottom of your rack and attach to your crossbars with a special fit kit (WR09; sold separately) to add 1-3/8 inches of additional clearance between the bottom of the carrier and your vehicle's roof. If you have Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty crossbars, use fit kit WR02 instead of WR09.

The Rhino-Rack ski and snowboard carrier offers soft rubber molding inside the hinged arms. The molding gently cradles your skis, snowboards or fishing rods and won't damage paint or cause abrasions.
