This lock, 5201, is a lock for all 2 inch receiver hitches. This is a simple padlock style lock. What you do to operate it is pull the protective cover off, take the key and give it a little bit of a turn. Then it comes right apart just like that. Now well show it installed on a 2 inch receiver hitch. To install just slide your pin in, just take the padlock itself, and it snaps into place. Put your protective cover on and your set to go. That covers it for part # 5201, along side of this model is part # 5200 also from Titan that fits on all 1 1/4 inch receiver hitches.

This Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, part # 5201, will act as a hitch pin and you will not need to buy an additional one. There is also not a weight limit for this product because it will not be bearing any of the weight of your cargo carrier. The hitch and cargo carrier will bear the weight of your cargo. However, you will want to be aware of the weight capacity of the hitch and cargo carrier and be careful not to exceed the capacity of the lowest rated component. I attached a review video

Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock Recommendation for a 1997 Ford F-150
The trailer hitch lock # 5201 is designed to fit in a 5/8 inch diameter hitch pin hole found on a Class III, IV, or V trailer hitch. The span or part that goes through the receiver and accessory is 3-1/2 inches long, overall it is 7-1/4 inches long so it is a fairly long lock. I personally like the flush mount type from Deadbolt, # 7683. The span is 2-5/8 inches so the 2 ends are flush with the receiver.
