How to Measure Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number is the diameter of the circle the holes sit on. To determine the diameter on wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure center-to-center on bolt holes directly across from each other on the circle (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 would mean 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" center-to-center diameter). When the number of bolt holes is odd, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from it on the circle (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 would mean 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolts).
OR
The distance between the center of one bolt on the wheel to the center of the bolt right next to it will also help determine the bolt pattern.

Today, we're going to review part number: 480TW4-B. This is the 480/4 X 8" Kenda Trailer Tire mounted on an 8" White Spoke Wheel. This wheel has a white, powder coat finish. A few measurements we'll do on the wheel: The diameter of the wheel (we measure inside to inside) would be 8". The width of this wheel is 3-3/4". This wheel has a capacity of 910 lbs, uses a wheel bolt size of 1/2" X 20".
Another critical measurement would be the pilot hole diameter, which is this large center hole. This is what will go over the hub on your trailer. The diameter on that will measure 2-1/2". Now, we'll move on to the tire size: The tire is a Loadstar, again, size 480/4 X 8" tire size. This is a load range B tire, which is a 4-ply rated tire, has a maximum capacity of 590 lbs at 60 psi.
This tire is a bias-constructed tire, which means the belts of this tire will run the length of the tire. And this tire-wheel combo will come with a limited two-year warranty. That should do it for part number: 480TW4-B .
