• I checked with my contact at Draw-Tite, and the # 4284 ball mount measures 4.88 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back side of the ball platform. You should have enough room to use the Swagman # S64664 towing bike rack, as long as the hitch opening on your Chevy Avalanche is not recessed very far behind the bumper.
