Specially designed to meet your heavy-duty towing needs, this fully welded, corrosion-resistant vehicle trailer hitch receiver features Draw-Tite's Tested Tough guarantee, ensuring performance that exceeds industry standards.

Specs:

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.
Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Today we are going to install part number 41931 from Draw-Tite, and we are going to install this hitch on a 2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty. We are looking at the passengers side frame rail here, and the hitch is going to get attached at this hole here, here, here and here. And you can tell by the whole area that the original factory hitch was on there already so we already took that off. The hitch is going to attach to the same place as the factory hitch did. This one will be a lot heavier hitch. And it will be identical on both sides. The factory wiring we took and just tucked it out of the way for now during our install. We will go ahead and reinstall that after the hitch is done.
Next we will go ahead and start installing our hardware. Each set of holes will get one of these plates. We in our bolt, and we do that for the remaining three sets of holes. At this point we can go ahead and start installing our hitch. We have the hitch hung by a couple of the nuts, and now we will go ahead and install the rest of our hardware. And we have got our conical-tooth washer and our nut. And it is really going to be the same all the way around. All right, at this point we can give the bolts their final torque, as specified in the instructions.
All right, we are going to reattach the factory wiring harness back to the hitch using two additional part numbers. We are going to be using part number 18013, which is a bracket that is going to the hitch right here with a hose clamp, and then the bracket that holds the actual 7-pole is going to mount below it. All right, we will thread our factory harness back through and put our connection back into place. We will put our lock latch back in. And with the wiring hooked up and the bolts all torqued down, that finishes our install of part number 41931 from Draw-Tite.
