I just received this new drop hitch and it feels like it was built from tank parts. Solid steel. All I can say is don't drop this on your foot or you won't be going on any trailer hauling trip. Great 6" drop, excellent length to get a good reach behind my vehicle, 1-1/4" shank hole for heavy duty ball mounting. I don't expect I'll ever have to replace this part!20946

Availability of a Forged Ball Mount with a 6 inch Rise
Out of the ball mounts we carry that the manufacturers have labeled as being forged, the closest one to a 6 inch rise is going to be # 40332, that you have referenced. To get that additional inch, you could use a ball with a 1 inch rise like # C40043. This is a 2-5/16 inch diameter ball with a 1 inch rise and 25,000 pound capacity.
