Today we are going to show you Draw-Tites forged ball mount with 16,000 pound capacity, part number 40331. The ball mount is constructed of solid one-piece forged materials and is finished with a double pounder coat to help protect the ball mount. It is designed to fit 2 inch receiver hitches and used hitch balls with a 1-1/4 inch shank diameter. This ball mount can be used in either the or the rise position. In the position, we lose 4 inches from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform. In the rise position, we gain 3 inches from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform. Slide the ball mount into the hitch, line up the holes and use a 5/8 hitch pin, or locking hitch pin, to secure the ball mount. And that does it for the forged ball mount with 16,000 pound capacity, part number 40331.

Only draw back weight limit not imprinted only on sticker, I pulled sticker off a stuck it in the glove box along with printed info from the add on etrailer.com. Should be enough to address any concerns law enforcement entities may have. Otherwise excellent heavy duty product, I previously owned similar for another truck, get it you won't be disappointed.29119

Nice finish, hopefully will hold up over time. Unfortunately it is rather loose inside the 2" hitch hole, I don't understand how hard it is to get a tighter tolerance. We used some electrical tape as others suggested, but I would expect more from this brand.28256

Solid 1 piece ball mount...heavy, this thing weighs about 20 lbs. It is a little loose fitting in the reciever but that may be the reciever and not the ball mount. A few wraps of electrical tape keeps it from rattling.19702

We pull a Car Hauler Trailer with valuable cars inside and didn't want to take chances any longer with a lower rated Trailer Hitch Ball Mount or the Hitch Ball. If you look at what the rating is on the Ball Mount and Hitch Ball that you are using on your Trailer Hitch I think you will be shocked and then will order one of these 16,000 lbs. GTW rated Forged Ball Mounts and probably a new 12,000 # rated Hitch Ball also! If the Hitch Ball Mount or the Hitch Ball you are using breaks - what will happen to your trailer and what is on it or inside as the case may be?7313
