Today we are reviewing part number 40330 from Draw Tite. This is a forged one piece ball mount with a one inch rise or a two inch drop. The towing capacity is 16,000 pounds and the towing rate capacity is up to 2,400 pounds. As you can see it has a drop of two inches from the top of the shank to the ball mount platform and it has a rise of one inch from the top of the shank to the ball mount platform. It measures from the center of the hitch pin-hole which is here to the center of the ball hole-which is here and that is eight and one half inches. The ball mount platform itself is one inch tall.

It has a double powder coat finish so it should resist corosion and rust very nicely. That's it for part number 40330 from Draw Tite-the forged ball mount with a one inch rise or a two inch drop rated at 16,000 pounds.
