door hook The latch was good quality but my door needed a 90 deg. bend in the arm so I had to bend it. The arm was aluminum so bending it was easy. 4711

Replaced the flimsy and weak door holder with the Trailer Door Hook & Keeper # 383400. It works great in any kind of wind. The same type of latch came standard on another trailer I own and the only difference was a spring that keeps the latch from bouncing when not in use. Very good price and easy to install with pop rivets.41737

Is it maybe something like the Plunger and Rubber Socket Door Holder, # DH100? If not, this is probably the easiest solution for a open door holder that we carry. Installing Trailer Door Hook and Keeper # 383400
You will usually see the hook portion mounted on the trailer door, with the keeper connected to the side of the trailer, but there is no reason why you could not install it the other way, if you wish. Just to be certain, I checked with the manufacturer who told me the same thing.
