- How Does 6-Way to 4-Way Adapter Work
- The 6-Way is not wired as you think. One is for ground, one is for tail light, one is for R turn/brake, one is for left turn/Brake, one is for trailer brakes, and the last is for either reverse lights or 12V power. The last wire may be omitted if not needed.
A 4-Way has the following wires: White - ground, brown - tail light, green - right brake/turn and yellow - left brake turn.
