Negative Input Short Proof "Circuit Guardian" Taillight Converter
  • Designed for vehicles with a negative power input (Ford Thunderbird, Windstar, Lincoln LS)
  • 4-Pole connector includes dust cap
  • 8 Amp capacity per function
  • Each kit includes everything needed to complete a 4-wire flat installation
    • Kit includes wire, fuse and connectors necessary for power supply hook-up at the battery
  • Powered converter with circuit protection is included in a weatherproof double-molded design
    • Circuit Protection guards the tow vehicle and the converter itself from trailer shorts

Please Note: To find the correct wires on the vehicle to splice into, a circuit tester that has reversible polarity must be used.

The power is delivered on the negative (low side) of the circuit, instead of the positive side typically found in automotive wiring. This converter is more expensive due to the unusual nature of the wiring system found on the vehicle.
