Today on this 2007 Chrysler Town and Country we are going to install part number 36320 from Draw-Tite. This will also apply to part number 90718 from Hidden Hitch. Next we will go ahead and show you where the hitch installs on the vehicle. It is going to use those two bolts right there and also the one right behind it. And this is going to be identical on both sides of the vehicle. So we will start off by taking off the bolts on the rear shackle itself. At this point, we can go ahead and install the hitch. Now, we do have to put the hitch up at an angle. First off, we will put the hitch over the driver side spring, pull it towards the back, and put the passenger side of the hitch towards the front of the spring and then pull it back. 0:43
And then, we will use the two bolts that go to the front of the vehicle to hold everything in position. What we will do next is go ahead and snug up these last to bolts so it holds the hitch in position while we do the bolts going towards the back of the vehicle. Alright, once you have the hitch up into position, make sure it is centered over the bolt in the middle. And then you can go ahead and install the bolts on both sides. We have all of our bolts started and snugged down. Now, go ahead and torque them down as specified in the instructions. From the top of the receiver opening to the ground is 13-1/4 inches. Okay, and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the bumper is about 3 inches. With our bolts torqued down, that finishes our install of part number 36320 from Draw-Tite.

Got this hitch to pull a small trailer with the families bicycles. We want to ride at more parks further from the house so this makes that possible. I did the install by myself in just under an hour. I do have an impact wrench and torque wrench, and I used both. I did not use any kind of lift or jack(s). Did the work in the carport, with my back on the ground. Etrailer shipped the product quickly, and provided timely status updates via email, and who can argue with free shipping on such a large item! Awesomely easy. If all websites sold products that were delivered on time and had detailed video directions there would be no complaints. Etrailer is all that. Install would have been much harder without the videos actually showing the instructions, that alone would be worth extra in the time it saved me installing the hitch. But it was still the lowest price on top of the great service. Will recommend to anyone looling into trailers to buy from etrailer.com9989

Superior Service E Trailer provided excellent service. My shipping was upgraded and the product arrived before I expected it. The wiring harness greatly simplified installation and was well worth the price. Draw Tight's hitch was well designed but the finish was of the usual poor quality that is associated with the industry.4420

Very easy install Extremely satisfied. Installation was very easy. Product arrived very quickly. It is extremely beneficial to spray the existing bolts beforehand with a penetrating fluid such as PB Blaster and then let it work overnight. It made for a much easier removal of the bolts. Also, use a 1/2" socket with an extension instead of a 3/8" socket. This will enable you to get much more leverage when loosening and tightening the bolts. Finish the job with a 1/2" drive torque wrench.2928

Easy Installation Item installed easier than expected. One helpful tip is that I used Car Ramps to raise the rear of my van, this provided the extra room for the installation. I installed it myself, but a second person would be nice to hole hitch in position for the bolt installation. I like the low profile look when installed, draw-tie could easily be stowed with the Jack stowage area. Design does NOT interfere/hit legs when loading van. Great look and finish...2450
