- For Chevrolet, Ford, GMC and Nissan trucks already equipped with a factory installed 7-way trailer connector, instead of an adapter, a multi-tow connector (# 30955) can be installed that will provide both a 7-way and 4-way trailer connector for use with the fire strip.

- I called the supplier (Pilot) on the brightness of the backup lights on the Pilot Universal LED Tailgate Fire Strip Brake, Tail, Turn and Reverse Lights # 360439. They said that they will be brighter than the normal two backup lights on your vehicle, but they will not be as bright as two 55 watt lights. - The reason that the Universal LED Tailgate Fire Strip, # 360439, does not come on with the reverse lights is because a 4-Way wiring harness does not have a reverse light function. That extra white wire that is by itself will connect to a reverse light wire behind one of the vehicle tail lights. You can splice in using a Quick Splice, # 564.

- I am sorry to hear you are having problems with the Fire Strip you purchased. Your vehicle does not require any conversion or diode when plugging the strip into the trailer connector. When you wired to the yellow (left) and green (right) turn/brake wires your brake lights should function as well as the turn signals.
