- Kia Dealer Installed Trailer Harness and Is Now Malfunctioning
- I would say either the dealer gave you a bad part, or the wrong part. The yellow wires should be attached to the driver side tail light to supply the driver side blinker signal. The other connector goes over to the passenger side tail light. On the passenger side, the red wire picks up brake light signal, brown wire picks up running/tail lights, green wire is the passenger side turn signal and the white wire is the ground.

Basically, you will unplug the harness from the back of the tail light, plug this unit into the wiring harness from your tail lights, and then plug this unit directly into your tail light assembly.
