Installation: Connection point is located behind the rear bumper on the driver side frame rail. The 4-pole trailer connector will be stowed under the vehicle close to the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket is recommended.
Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.

- The Plug-N-Tow (TM) Wiring Harness, item # 33525, will plug in between the male and female end of one of the sets of connectors that you are seeing. Once you separate the connectors it will be obvious whether you have the correct one or not. You are looking in the right area, behind the drivers side bumper on the frame rail.

- Towing Wiring Harness on 2006 Nissan Frontier Not Powering Up Running Light Circuit
- I would recommend using a circuit tester like part # 40376 and test the the pin on the trailer connector that corresponds to the brown wire.
I would recommend confirming that you definitely have the tow package, as part # 118339 will not work on vehicles without the OEM tow package. If this part is used on a Frontier without the tow package, the running light circuit will not work without adding a relay available from the dealer.

- There are 2 different wiring situations for the 2006 Nissan Frontier. To determine which is the correct harness, you will need to determine whether or not your Frontier has a factory tow package. The Plug-N-Tow Wiring Harness, # 33525, will plug in between the male and female end of one of the sets of connectors underneath your 2006 Nissan Frontier. You will need to look behind the rear bumper on the driver side frame rail for the connection point.
