- As long as your 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe is a 4 wheel drive model the Curt Front Hitch for the 1995 Tahoe, item # 31042, will fit. The tech tip states that the Hitch will not fit vehicles with 34 inch frames. If you have a 2 wheel drive model then the front mount hitch will not fit.

- The Silverado designation describes a trim class on the C/K series Chevy pickups in the 1994 model year. Front hitch # 31042 is a fit for all C/K models in this year as long as they have four wheel drive and do not have a 34 inch wide frame.
If your vehicle is a 2 wheel drive model, or your outside frame width is at 34 inches, you would instead use Draw-Tite front hitch # 65005, which fits all the 1500 models.

- The Curt Front Mount 2 Inch Hitch, part # 31042, that you have referenced, is the only front hitch I have that will fit your 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4. It has a line pull rating of 9,000 lbs, so if you use a winch with a 10,000-lb line pull rating you will be limited to the lower 9,000-lb rating of the hitch.
