Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Ford F250 - Video
Signature Series Under-bed Fifth Wheel Hitch Installation Rails
The new "Power Puck" mounting system allows the hitch to be installed in the pickup truck bed with only four small holes. The mount holes are flush in the truck bed; therefore, once the fifth wheel hitch is removed, nothing will interfere with whatever is going into the truck bed next. Once the Signature Series hitch is placed into the underbed mounting rails, four quarter-turns (one on each of the legs) of the mount handles secure the hitch. Two padlocks are then all it would take to make sure the hitch isn't going anywhere. The new tight lock also reduces the noise and play associated with the older mounting system of pins through rails.

Very impressed with the way the kit installs in my 2006 F350SD CC Dually. Did it in 2.5 hours. Very good and clear instructions with plenty of details and pictures. I would reccomend this to all.

Really helps to have a helper on the install of these rail kits. Easiest to remove bed bolts and prop up the bed with a few 2x4's and you will have all the clearance needed.

Like the previous review said, it would be a whole lot easier to remove the bed bolts and lift the bed up a couple of inches so the rails slid in easier. I didn't remove the bolts because I had my truck previously Rhinolined. I installed this kit myself with no lift or help so you can do it too. Make sure you use the 21/32" bit to drill the holes. I had a very hard time finding this bit and went with the next size up. The problem now is the knurled bolt (For the 2005+ Superduty) won't stay put because the hole is too big and I can't tighten the nut as tight as I wanted to. Directions had no warning about this. Otherwise I do like the system, and when done, the hitch fit perfect.
