- Difficulty of Running Board and Light Installation on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee
- Installation difficulty of any part is always arbitrary and depends a lot on the individual doing the installation. If you have experience with automotive and/or wiring projects then you would find this installation difficulty to be on the easier side. The wiring aspect of it is probably more difficult than the installation of the running boards like # 27-6115-1975.

- The Westin LED Light Kit, # 27-6000, is designed so that when you open the doors the lights will come on. They are made to fit the Westin Sure-Grip running boards so I cannot say if they will fit any other brand or not.

- Westin Replacement LED Light Kit for Westin Running Boards
- The Westin LED Light Kit, # 27-6000, is designed for use with the Westin Sure-Grip running boards. Part # 27-9904 that you mentioned is a set of replacement lenses and housings for molded, lighted running boards. The molded running boards are not the same as the Sure-Grip running boards so the LED light kit will not fit the molded running boards.
For replacement bulbs for the molded, lighted boards use # 27-9905 and for replacement wiring harness use # 27-9903.
