Today were looking at the Demco galvanized marine brake assembly part number 18788. This particular assembly is for the left hand side, we can tell this by looking at the shoe lining. The lining in the forward shoe is smaller than the lining on the rear shoe or primary. This means we have the left hand side. Couple this with the right hand side and it will create 3500 pounds in braking capacity. This is a single Inaudible 00:00:28 setup so we have one wheel cylinder and one piston that well push out against our shoe to create our pressure needed to create braking.
