Today we are going to take a look at Petersons Piranha LED Small Trailer Clearance Light, part number 168R. This light utilizes 2 LEDs on the inside with a life expectancy of 1,000 hours. Its sonically welded and sealed to keep moisture out of the light. It utilizes a 2 wire design, meaning you will have 1 wire for power, and the other wire will be your electrical ground. Its also designed to use a mounting base thats sold separately to attach to your trailer.
Next we are going to hook up the light to a power supply, so you can see how it looks. Well connect our white wire to ground, and our red wire to our power.
