Trailer hitch receiver lock is used in place of standard pin and clip to prevent theft of ball mount or accessories such as cargo carriers and bike racks
Oversize lock fits late-model trucks with wider, 2-1/2" receivers
- Fits 2007-2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra with HD tow package
- This lock is slightly too short for the 2011 GMC factory 2-1/2" hitches (see RH5-XL if you have this vehicle)
Patented, stainless steel swivel head rotates 360 degrees for easy access

Today we are going to show you part number 1469DAT from Master Lock. What we have here is a stainless steel trailer hitch lock for a 2-1/2 inch receiver. This part fits all late model trucks like the Ford F150 or the Toyota Tundra and the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. Basically this will fit pretty much any tow package that contains 2-1/2 by 2-1/2 inch receiver openings. It also has a barrel swivel head so that you get easier access and it is also corrosion resistant due to the stainless steel construction. The overall dimensions of the lock is 3-1/4 inches long and the pin itself is 5/8 inches in diameter. This is an exclusive design for Master Lock with a limited lifetime warranty. I will go ahead and show you how it works. It is pretty easy. You can just pop the little weatherproof cover off of there. Then take your key and give it a 1/4 turn and it comes apart. Now we can go ahead and install it in our ballmount.

We have our 2-1/2 by 2-1/2 inch ballmount here and we will show you how it works. You just slide it in, put on the lock and turn the key back. Make sure it is tight and then pop the cover on and you are good to go. It is also nice because of the design of working in a tight area. Like if there are bumpers in the way or what not. It is real easy to get to the key because it comes from the side like this. I have a 2011 ford F350 super duty with the new 2 1/2" x 2 1/2 " receiver. It's impossible to find any parts for this new receiver. (locking pins, receiver covers etc) This locking pin fits. You should look for more parts to accommodate this new receiver as I am hearing that this is where trucks are going. Anyway this lock fits thanks Chuck 6147
