- I contacted our representative at Wallace Forge and he informed me that the maximum capacity of part # 1385 is total weight, which includes trailer and cargo. He said that 60,000 pounds is the most weight you can pull with the 3 Inch Trailer Lunette Ring, part # 1385. For example, if you have a 10,000 pound trailer, you could carry 50,000 pounds of cargo, if your trailer and towing vehicle were capable of towing that much weight. This part is not rated for sheer rating.
