Very disappointed when product didn't bolt up under the bumper. The two holes for the bumper were both off 1/2 to 3/4". The front of the bumper mounting plate covered 1/2 of the thread openings on the bumper. My solution has been to drill the rear part of the bumper, I couldn't find my 1/2" drill, so I have to get a new 1/2" drill. So far I have drilled to approximately 3/8", but my battery powered drill can't handle a 1/2" bit. So, I need a new 1/2" drill from Harbor Freight ($30). Then I will have to find ASE bolts and nuts to do the bolt up. I couldn't find a nut to fit the bolts that you provided. 6384

all I need I needed to install a hitch on my 2009 Chevy Silvarado. After looking at several different web sites, I found all I needed to complete the job in one location. I was able to pick a hitch, wiring harness and accessories to complte the job. I also liked getting the notifications from the people who input, picked and shipped my order. I also liked the tracking number system that you included in your shipping notification, I did not have to copy a long sting of charcters and then go to a UPS or Fedex site, to use the tracking number. I placed my order Monday morning and by Wensday afternoon the kit was at home waiting for me. I was able to complete the hitch and wiring installation in 30-40 minutes. Another thing I found use full on your site was the instalation "tip's" videos for the wiring harness and hitch mount. 4785

Received my hitch and wiring harness yesterday, two days after ordering. Impressed with the fast shipping. The hitch looks great and exactly as promised. I will not install until tomorrow, but do not think I will have any problems as the instructional video's were great. Also everything was packed well and they even taped the wiring harness to the hitch to keep the hitch from damaging the wiring harness in shipping. The tow hitch has nice clean welds, everything is very straight, and the mounting points lined up perfectly. I would only suggest to clean the connections on the bumper mine had a little corrosion so i redid them to insure i got the proper torque The installation was very easy. Hitch was shipped very quickly and was packed fine. Noticed a few scuffs and nicks on hitch once unpacked but never gave it to much thought as this will get banged around more on the first use between attaching trailer chains and sliding in the drop down so I felt close enough. Besides the road salt will take its toll. Anyways the hitch was very easy to install once I got the first bolt in to hold it in place. If you have someone to help initially it would help but I am 60 years old and could do it alone.Well made and excellent fit. Looks like it was factory installed once done.47316

This is the second hitch and trailer wiring I have bought from Etrailer. This one bolted right up just like the insrtuctions said. they also had it shipping to me the day I ordered it and recieved it in three days with their free shipping. I had also bought the plug for the chevy bumper, and it fits right on the factory harness, and in the bumper like a factory part. 6504

supplied hardware The hitch is a good value. The fit was perfect. My only issue was that the holes in lock washers were slightly undersized. When it was stamped it was left with a slight lip that needs to be removed.5349

2010 silverado hitch Perfect fit; clean finish... exactly the hitch you want for your new truck. Installed it on my lunch hour by myself.... air impact wrench a must; you'll need a skinny extender bar for the air wrench and the torque wrench to do the job right... easy install about 20 minutes. IMPORTANT! Don't take your spare tire off, that's just dumb!; at least on my 2010 I didn't and it was apparent it would not be necessary to install this hitch. Why the instructions say to do that?5312

Great Look, Easy Installation I was looking for a Hitch that was mostly hidden and that would look as close to factory as possible. Awesome in every respect I installed this hitch on my new Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 in less than 10 minutes - no kidding. No trimming of plastic or removing spare tire - Chevy had two bolts pre-intalled that I removed and the hitch fit like it came from GM with the truck. Amazing for the price!2969

The trailer hitch for my 2001 Chevy Silverado was exactly as indicated on etrailer.com web site. Very fast delivery service, I was quite pleased. Installed myself in about a hour. Hardest part of the installation was getting the existing two frame bolts loosened and out, after that tne installation went very well. I would definitely recommend etrailer.21026
