The strap has 360-degrees of protection. It combines a tubular edge design to absorb side impacts with a unique high strength weave. In addition, the strap receives a Class R coating to protect against surface abrasion. Close by no cigar The Ratchet mechanism on this is LARGE and it is permanently attached to the web that goes over the tire. So - unless you have an open wheel racer, or have a lot of clearance between your tire and the fender / bodywork -you could have problems. When you try and ratchet - the bodywork is in the way! 2042
