Do the job right! This kit makes it super-simple! Just plug in the module, then plug in the trailer connector. Ten minutes and you're done - and the lights work right the first time.

Very easy to install on my Honda Element. One plug in under dash and one plug in at the spare tire compartment. No other wires to run. Just checked the lights on my trailer and all okay. Have not used it for any amount of time, so can't comment on that.

Very complete product. I would add to the instructions to push down on the tab on the rear port when removing the cap. Also, I cut the rear harness wire so I could run it through a groument/plug leading from the spare tire well. Soldered the wires and used heat shrink tubing for a nicer install than draping the wire over the tailgate.
