Installation: Connection point is located in the pocket behind the driver's side taillight. 4-pole trailer connector will be stowed under the bumper close to the hitch. A mounting bracket is recommended.

Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.

Today on this 2008 Jeep Wrangler we are going to install part number 118416 from Tow Ready. This is our T-One wiring harness. This harness will get installed behind the driver side tail light assembly. This should be pretty easy to install. :13

This is our disconnect right here, we will push down on this button and it will come right apart. Our T-Connector will fit right back on our tail light. What we will do next is take our 4-pole and route it down inside and get below the tail light, underneath the bumper and reach up and pull it down. There will be a little panel that we have to remove to get to it. :45

We are also going to peel back our white ground wire so we can push it out the bottom too. We will ground that to the frame on the vehicle. Now we can go ahead and put our light back together. We are going to take our wire harness, run it over the bracket here for the frame and wrap it around the body mount. Then we will zip tie it to this bracket right here and then we will take our loom clamp and screw it to the bottom of the sheet metal to hold our wire harness right here. It is still safely away from the muffler. We will take the 4-pole itself and attach it to the chain loop hole to hold it. Take up our slack, zip tie it off. Now we will deal with our ground screw. We will sneak it over the frame and attach to this part of the frame right here. That will finish our install of part number 118416 from Tow Ready on our 2008 Jeep Wrangler.
