Installation: Connection points are located behind the interior trim panels close to each taillight. Wiring harness will remain in cargo area or trunk for storage.
Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.

Warning:

Overloading circuit can cause fires. Do not exceed lower of towing manufacturer rating or:

• Max. stop/turn light: 1 per side (2.1 amps)
• Max. tail lights: (5.0 amps)

This harness is for those that do not have the towing package from the factory. This harness plugs into the wiring from your rear tail lights. It takes less than an hour to install. The hardest part is to figure out how to run the wiring to look like it was factory installed. Very easy to do! If you have the factory towing package order harness 30159 from etrailer - this should be even easier to install!
